December: #2 The Diamond T Award

Subject: Cowboy Poetry detailing the life of a cowboy at work. Past or present cowboys. (See Baxter Black for examples)

January: A guest host will be chosen to direct this critiquing. The contest chosen will be that person’s choice.

February: #40 Poetry Society of Oklahoma Award

March: #46 San Antonio Poets Association Award

Bring 10-12 copies of your poem to the sessions to pass around for critiquing. Critiquing starts at 1:20.

If you are an out of town member and want to submit a poem for the critiquing challenge, send (Lori Goetz) 10 copies via regular mail no later than the first of the month. She will pass these out and mail back any comments to you. If you have an email, she will scan the comments back to you. (Please – mail Lori the hardcopies so Lori does not have to photocopy anything before the meeting).
